Such a great family ran restaurant! Dinning here is like dinning with family, the owners and all who work there truly care about their customers; it shows with the friendly conversations and delicious food! You have to finish off your meal with a slice of the pistachio cake!!!
We went in the morning on a Tuesday when they first opened... folks were waiting in the parking lot, and it soon became obvious why. Super friendly service team, food was ready fast and delicious, and the coffee mugs never got empty. Will definitely be back.

In town from Atlanta, and happened upon this popular spot. There is a reason it's popular. Fantastic breakfast food, amazing service, and atmosphere. Would come here every day if I lived in the area.
Typical good Detroit area Coney Island. I had the veggie skillet. Very good. Waitress was attentive. Good experience.
Always a great time at Gus & Us Grill! The service is of the highest hospitality someone would experience. The food is A+ grade especially the Athenian Chicken, it's my favorite!

All of the food we have had here is great. The wait staff is so friendly and on top of their game. Parking lot is always busy, but they get you in quickly for a table and the to go orders are always coming in. This place is a real deal Coney Island type restaurant. Probably the best chicken lemon rice soup around. It has become a regular place for us. If you want a giant loaded salad, come here.
